Luka’s Story… and His Second Chance

My name is Luka… and I’m still trying to understand how I ended up alone in a park.

One day, I had a family. The next, I didn’t. I was scared, confused, and waiting for someone who never came back.

When I was brought to the shelter, everything felt loud and overwhelming. I didn’t know who to trust. But somehow, the volunteers saw something in me. They gave me gentle words, soft pets, and hope when I didn’t have any left. They fought for me… and they saved my life.

Now I’m in a foster home, and for the first time in a long time, I feel safe. I’ve learned what it means to relax, to play, to love again.

And I have so much love to give.

I’m just a baby—about 10 months old, an American Bully, around 50 lbs—with a heart that still believes in people.

I’ll follow you from room to room just to be close. I’ll rest my head on you when you’ve had a long day. I’ll greet you like you’re the best thing in the world… every single time.

Because to me, you would be.

I’m house trained and crate trained Great with dogs and kids I love car rides, toys, and cozy snuggles I’m smart, gentle, and eager to learn I give the softest kisses and the biggest love

I don’t need much… just a family who won’t leave me behind again.

Someone who will choose me forever.
