Russel

Russell is an extremely affectionate, friendly, and playful boy who had been stuck in a small shelter kennel for almost 2 years.  Yes, 2 years!!  It’s awful to be confined to a prison cell for a crime that he didn’t commit.  

He is very intelligent and well-trained and wants to please.

Russell was originally adopted from the shelter and then returned because the owners lost their home. The previous owners said that Russell is affectionate, friendly, playful and has had professional training.  He is crate trained,

He enjoyed daily walks and running /jogging with family members . Their favorite characteristic about Russell was that he will give a hand shake when told “Paw” and gives High Five on command.  He loves to cuddle and will give hugs and kisses.

He is also very dog friendly.

Russell is 5 years old 65lbs and a very happy boy and smart too!

He would make a fabulous hiking/running buddy!

Russell needs a dog-savvy person who will provide exercise and discipline to be the best dog that he can be.
