Hi… my name is ASHER.

People say I’m a big, beautiful boy with a fancy merle coat and goofy puppy energy. But the truth is… I was just a scared kid wandering around a skate park in Long Beach hoping somebody would notice me.

I walked up to everyone I saw.

I kept thinking maybe one of them was my person. Maybe someone was looking for me. Maybe if I wagged my tail hard enough, somebody would say, “There you are, buddy.”

But nobody came.

A kind human picked me up and tried really hard to find my family. They checked for a microchip, posted flyers, searched everywhere… but no one ever came back for me.

I don’t understand why.

I’m only 8 months old. I’m still just a puppy trying to figure life out.

I’ve been working really hard with my trainer so I can be the best dog possible. I’m learning manners, leash walking, and how to stay calm and confident. Everyone says I’m super smart and learn really fast. I just need someone willing to guide me and believe in me.

I love cuddles more than anything. I lean my whole body into you when I feel safe. Sometimes I forget how big I am because inside I’m really just a baby who wants to be loved.

I’m good with playful, balanced dogs, but because I’m a strong boy, I’d do best in a home with older kids and no tiny dogs.

What I really want is simple:

A couch.

A family.

A hand on my head telling me I’m finally home.

I promise if you give me a chance, I’ll give you my whole heart forever.

I even come with two free training sessions so we can start our new life together the right way.
