Meet Dottie...the dog who's been waiting for someone to finally choose her.
Every day, dogs watch families walk past their kennels, hoping that today will be the day someone stops for them.
Dottie waited too.
She was picked up as a stray and sat in the shelter, wondering if anyone would ever notice her. The one thing that makes Dottie a little different is that she's deaf...but the beautiful thing is, she has no idea.
She doesn't know she's "different."
She only knows that people are for loving, tennis balls are for chasing, other dogs are for playing with, and every new day is worth greeting with a happily wagging tail.
Dottie is the kind of dog who reminds you that joy doesn't come from hearing the world...it comes from living in it with your whole heart.
