Hi, I’m Gambino — and I need your help!
I was abandoned on the streets of Los Angeles, dodging cars and surviving on scraps. I was picked up and taken to the shelter so my “owner” could find me… but no one came.
The shelter was terrifying. I was so scared I stopped eating and became dangerously thin. I was placed on the euthanasia list.
Then a kind family stepped in and saved me. They nursed me back to health and showed me what love feels like. Unfortunately, their resident dog isn’t comfortable with me, so I urgently need a new foster home.
Boarding is not an option. I don’t do well in kennel environments and may stop eating again. I need a calm, loving place to land.
About Me:
1 year old 52 pounds
Super friendly, affectionate, and playful
Loves toys and entertains himself tossing them around the yard
Plays fetch
Loves neighborhood walks and sniff adventures
Knows “sit” and “shake”
House trained
Respectful in the home
Great with kids
Would make an amazing family dog or loyal companion
