Some dogs come into rescue with heartbreaking stories, and Maxine is one of them.

This beautiful girl was found tied to a fence at a park alongside her mom, abandoned and left behind.

Thankfully, a kind-hearted Good Samaritan refused to look the other way and brought them both to safety.

After a week in foster care, Maxine entered professional training to help prepare her for the next chapter of her life.

Now she's ready.

Ready for a family who will never leave her behind.

Ready for a couch to call her own.

Ready for a lifetime of love.
