🐾 Meet Rooney 🐾

Just three weeks ago, Rooney was found in an alley in Gardena — alone, covered in bite wounds and blood. A kind-hearted Good Samaritan couldn’t take him home, but she didn’t turn away. Instead, she brought him to the shelter, hoping someone could help.

Rooney was cleaned up and cared for at the shelter, and she kept checking in, praying he’d get adopted. When it didn’t happen fast enough, she asked someone to pull him in hopes of holding onto him temporarily until a home was found. Sadly, that plan didn’t work out — and once again, Rooney had nowhere to go.

That’s when we got the call. And we knew immediately: Rooney needed us.

This boy has been through so much — and yet, he is still so sweet, gentle, and calm. 🥺❤️ His resilience is a reminder of how forgiving and loving dogs truly are, even after enduring unthinkable trauma.

Rooney visited the vet and absolutely stole everyone's hearts. He was a rockstar, got a good bath, and underwent a full medical workup. We’re waiting on his test results, but for now, he’s safe, loved, and decompressing in a loving environment at @cjspetstaycation_
