Ruby. Old soul dog in a puppy’s body. God was showing off when she made Ruby.
Ruby is a one-year-old Dutch Shep/Malinois (best guess?) mashup. Exquisitely gentle, so smart, and super loving. To top it all off, Ruby is as calm as they come! House trained. (Since day one as a puppy. How does that happen?) Crate trained. Excellent on leash. Easy in the car. Happy with other calm, balanced dogs. Loves to learn and learns fast. Her best skill is calm cuddling. I’m seeking a wonderful home for baby Ruby.
Ruby is 43 pounds, spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, of course.

(Side note: Ruby came from an abandoned house in the desert. A screaming, gun waving guy was sure I was there to take the puppies away to kill them. He seemed to confuse rescue with shelter. The women on the property took over. Ruby is named for one of them.)
