Zazu

Zazu
MALE, 9 MONTH OLD, PITTIE CATAHOULA MIX, VERY SWEET AND PLAYFUL, GREAT WITH KIDS AND DOGS
THEY TIED ME TO A TREE… AND LEFT ME THERE.
I was just a baby.
Nine months old.
I was tied to a tree at an intersection, alone and terrified, watching the world go by and wondering why nobody was coming back for me.
I didn’t know what I had done wrong. I didn’t know where my family was. I didn’t know if anyone would ever find me.
I only knew that I was scared.
Then, thankfully, a Good Samaritan saw me.
They took me home. They checked me for a microchip. They posted flyers. They tried everything they could to find my family.
Nobody came looking for me.
So now I’m hoping that maybe… just maybe… someone is looking for ME.
I’m a 9-month-old, 55-pound Pittie/Great Dane mix, and despite everything that happened to me, I haven’t let it change my heart.
I am sweet. Loving. Smart. Playful.
I’m wonderful with kids and other dogs.
I’m good on leash.
I’m crate trained.
And I LOVE to please my people.
Look into my eyes. Those beautiful eyes have seen something no puppy should ever have to experience.
But they’re still hopeful.
Still trusting.
Still waiting for someone to say:
“You’re safe now, Zazu. You’re home.”
I don’t need someone to rescue me for a moment.
I need someone who will choose me for a lifetime.
I would be an incredible addition to an active family and the most loyal, loving best friend you could ask for.
Maybe you’re reading this and something inside your heart just shifted.
Maybe you’re the person Zazu has been waiting for.
PLEASE SHARE ZAZU.
Even if you can’t adopt him, you can help change his life by sharing this post. The right person may be just one share away.
Somewhere in Southern California, there is a family who is going to look into Zazu’s eyes and know:
“That’s my dog.”
Let’s help them find each other.
