About Us

At Bullies and Buddies we are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and finding loving homes for bullies and other buddy breeds in Southern California.

Through love, training and patience we have come to know and love each and every dog we've rescued as if they were ours. They're all little angels and we want them to succeed. For this reason, we pledge to never take on more dogs than we can properly care for.

We are a foster-based rescue and we rely solely on volunteers and donors to keep our doors open. We encourage you to join us on our mission and help make a difference to a dog in need.

ADOPTED! We are so happy to announce that these cuties have found their forever humans!

Together we have saved over a thousand dogs in Southern California XO

Hi Hello Humans my name is FIG and I am ready for a HOME!

I was recently rescued from a high kill shelter and I would have most likely died in that awful place.

You see I have Megaesophagus and it's probably why the not so nice humans dumped me there in the first place-UGH!

Megaesophagus means that I am unable to swallow food normally because my esophagus lacks the muscular tone and motility needed to move food and water.

I am a GORGEOUS male Husky/Shepherd mix and I'm great with other dogs and am very loving, affectionate and SMART!

After my first Pit Bull, Lady, passed away, that love blossomed into a desire to help other bullies in need. It also inspired me to advocate for the breed and for responsible Pit Bull owners everywhere.

I am driven to bring awareness to the other side of the "Pit Bull" story - the one most people don't see on the news. I hope to get people to look deeper - beyond the "Pit Bull" hype - and see love in its truest form.
